From now on our website with the Joomla content management-system is online on www.esvcp.com. This should enable us to improve the administration of the web-site and make communications much easier.
The news section is the first step and I'm looking forward to get any informations from you and to publish them.

VCP: Online submission of abstracts - Tue 27th May 2008
Dear ESVCP Members,
We are pleased to inform you that Veterinary Clinical Pathology is now using an online submission process for all manuscripts. Please go to our site on Manuscript Central at
and click on "new user" to set up an account. Once logged in, follow instructions for submitting your manuscript, figure files, and cover letter. Thereafter, using your user ID and password you may enter the Author Center at any time to follow the review process.

Veterinary Clinical Pathology: An Integrated Undergraduate Course - Sun 25th May 2008
Veterinary Clinical Pathology CD-ROM contains a series of 25 lectures with power point slides and notes covering the contents of an undergraduate clinical pathology course. The CD-ROM is forwarded together with a book containing all the slides and notes printed.
Both, CD-ROM and book are based on the integrated European project "Teaching veterinary clinical pathology to undergraduate students", by J. Ceron, J.-P. Braun, T. Gaal, J.M. Godeau, C. Knottenbelt, H. Larkin, G. Lubas, A. Moritz, K. Papasouliotis, and S. Sankari.

VCP Journal: New Publisher - Sat 24th May 2008
ASVCP signed a partnership agreement with Wiley-Blackwell for publication of Veterinary Clinical Pathology beginning in 2008. With this partnership, the journal joins an impressive cadre of veterinary specialty journals and its services have expanded to include online publication in Blackwell Synergy, OnlineEarly publication, Manuscript Central (an online manuscript tracking and review system to be implemented this year), expanded library penetration and access, and comprehensive marketing. We also negotiated to eliminate color page charges for authors, and are in the process of digitizing all back issues of the journal.

The congress website www.esvcpcongress.org is online and the form for online-submission of abstracts is ready.
